Carie Balton McPhail, PT, DPT, SCS, CMTPT
Carie grew up in Germantown, Tennessee and is a graduate of Hutchison School. She received her BA from Millsaps College and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Carie has worked at Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics since 2013 and takes a special interest in running medicine and athlete injury prevention. Carie earned her certification in Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars in 2015 and became an APTA Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist in 2017. Carie has a background in group exercise and personal training. She spent many years teaching yoga, group exercise, and bootcamps. She has a passion for helping others reach their goals. Her hobbies include triathlon, animal rescue, and trying to keep up with her 1 year old son! She has volunteered on the sidelines of Memphis University School football since 2012. It was her work with MUS that inspired the launch of Memphis Kinetics.
Jennifer Dixon Brown, PT, OCS, CMTPT
Jennifer grew up in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She received her B.S. in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Mississippi State and her Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She has worked at Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics since 2006 with special interests in the use of myofascial release and dry needling to reduce pain and increase mobility. Jennifer enjoys blending her manual skills and knowledge to aid athletes to painfree performance! Jennifer earned her certification in Dry Needling through Myopain Seminars in 2014 and became an APTA Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinic Specialist in 2017. She is a dedicated mother of two sons who enjoys her free time cheering them on with their sporting aspirations! She hopes that Memphis Kinetics will help keep them healthy through their adventures.
